Bipul Chhetri, a popular name among Nepalese youths is a Nepali language singer though born in Darjeeling, India. Bipul was introduced to music at an early age, probably when he was still in 3rd Grade.
Nowadays, a controversy had sent Bipul’s fans unto shock last December when an online portal reported that he had lifted Ganga Bardan’s “Kaha Ma Katyo”.
Actually, Bipul had never included any version of the song in any of his album and hadn’t released it as an official single or never even recorded the song. However, he had unloaded him singing the song live on YouTube which he later removed in the wake of controversy.
Now, the controversy has come to end, that too in the best possible way. The two played the song together to packed audience at Purple Haze Rock Bar in Thamel, Kathmandu where Bipul along with his band was playing a gig on April 15, 2017.
